Yes, you can. However, please keep in mind that the cardholder is responsible for ensuring compliance with Spending Guidelines, procurement guidelines and travel guidelines.
The PCard program is designed to accommodate efficient, low-dollar purchasing. However, all transactions are governed by university purchasing guidelines. These are:
- All transactions $5,000 and above must follow the requisition process.
- Whenever a department spends more than $5,000 with a single supplier within a fiscal year, those purchases must go through the requisition process.
If needing to spend more than $5,000 in a single transaction, first request a Temporary Change to Spending Limits.
