The PCard program is designed to accommodate efficient, low-dollar purchasing. However, all transactions are governed by university purchasing guidelines. These are:
- All transactions $5,000 and above must follow the requisition process.
- Whenever a department spends more than $5,000 with a single supplier within a fiscal year, those purchases must go through the requisition process.
If needing to spend more than $5,000 in a single transaction, first request a Temporary Change to Spending Limits.
