To become a MarketPlace approver, you will need to contact your SAR Administrator.
A Marketplace Approver is a department or college representative with System Access Request (SAR) privileges to approve and/or deny MarketPlace orders. The Approver’s role is to approve [or deny, for various reasons] MarketPlace orders before they are transmitted to the supplier for fulfillment.
The Approver’s responsibilities are:
- Review requisitions and make necessary changes in the Financial System
- Confirm budget availability
- Approve or deny the purchase request
