Do I pay taxes at hotels?

Yes. Hotels charge State and Occupancy taxes, which are allowed on the PCard.

However, some states offer sales tax exemption reciprocity, in which case sales tax should not be paid for. A list of states in which we are exempt from Sales and Use Tax can be found on the University Controller’s Office, Sales and Use Tax website.
