Can the Foundation hold an auction?

Foundations may hold an auction that is clearly advertised as sponsored by the Foundation and not NC State University. The Foundation is responsible for maintaining bid sheets and/or a listing of the fair market value of auction items so that Advancement Services can determine the gift amount.
