Can I use a small purchase voucher to pay for a fellowship or scholarship?

For graduate students, fellowship/scholarship stipends should be paid through the Fellowship Payment System set up through the Graduate School and Financial Aid.

If the payment is for a student who is no longer enrolled at NC State or is enrolled at another university, the stipend payment should be processed through the voucher system. It is ok to process reimbursements to students through the voucher system when their fellowship award provides funds for expenses such as books and supplies and the students have made these purchases themselves.
