Can I prepay with this fiscal year’s funds for travel that will occur next fiscal year?

Regarding state funds, payments within current fiscal year can include:

• Expenses for domestic travel occurring before July 31
• International travel occurring before August 31

Payments and reimbursement of registration fees depend upon when they are due and if there are any discounts for early payments.  If the registration fee is not due until after the dates mentioned above, and there are no discounts, it cannot be paid with state funds within the current fiscal year.
