Can I create a Travel Authorization or Reimbursement on behalf of someone else?

Yes, you can create a Travel Authorization or Travel Reimbursement on behalf of someone else. To do so, you must first set up a traveler profile, which will give you access to all the Travel Center features. To set a traveler profile, please follow the instructions outlined in The Travel Manual, section TC.1.1 Set-Up Your Traveler Profile.

If your job responsibilities include creating Travel Authorizations or Travel Reimbursements on behalf of others (proxy), you will need the employee’s Travel ID, which is the same as the Vendor ID. To locate this number, follow the instructions listed in The Travel Manual, Travel Proxy Setup.

Step-by-step instructions on how to enter a travel authorization or reimbursement can be found in The Travel Manual, section Travel Center Guidance.
